Suicide Girls — культурный шок из Лос-Анджелеса
Все началось еще в 2001 году, когда пара юных людей Sean Suhl и Missy Suicide с верой в идею что творческий потенциал и особенность могут гармонически существовать с сексуальностью, основали проект «Suicide Girls».
Это современное медиа-пространство с злостью и сексуальностью, явление на стыке эротики, арт-фотографии, панк-рока и просто неосуществимого тщеславия. Это новый метод поиска своей особенности. «Термин «Suicide Girls» употреблялся мною и моими друзьями для описания женщин, которые мы лицезрели на Пионер площади Портланда с скейтбордом в руке, в байке Minor Threat, с Ice Cube в их iPod, читающих книжку Ника Кэйва. Это девицы, которые не вписывались ни в одну из закоренелых подкультур и не старались обрисовать себя через определенный музыкальный вкус вроде панка, металла, готики и т.д.. Мне кажется, что единственные точные систематизации сейчас для идентификации себя это мэйнстрим и вне мэйнстрима. Вот почему мы окрестили наш проект Suicide Girls» — гласит Missy.
После того как в 2003 году проект Suicide Girls вышел из андеграунда, он стал не просто удачным проектом с более чем 1000000 уникальных гостей в неделю, а перевоплотился в современную марку стиля жизни. Suicide Girls отказались от стереотипов навязанные «Плейбоем» и «Воком», они удачно сделали собственные: пирсинг, татуировки, бледноватая кожа, атрибуты готики и т.д. Как признаются многие участницы проекта, к ним стали нередко подходить 14-летние девченки и гласить, что тоже грезят стать Suicide Girls. «Suicide Girls» стал таким «Плейбоем» последнего поколения. В первый раз арт-порно закончило быть анонимным и обезличенным: любая модель — это личность, в чем гости могут убедиться, прочитав блог хоть какой из девченок.
Хотя большая часть Suicide Girls — американки, проект содержит девченок со всех материков, включая и Антарктиду. Моделью может быть кто угодно. Девицы, в обыденной жизни разливающие напитки в баре, продавцы-консультанты, либо сами набивающие другим любителям татуировки. Те же, которым случается ночами играть в панк-группах либо заниматься кое-чем ещё более никчемным. Администрация проекта утверждает, что сами не отыскивают моделей. Каждую неделю им приходит более 1000 анкет от женщин, со всего мира желающих стать Suicide Girl.
Сначала только одна либо две из их в неделю могли бы быть приняты, но сейчас в картотеку добавляется по новейшей девице в денек. Чтоб стать одной из участниц, необходимо отправить на электрическую почту photographycoordinator@suicidegirls.com ссылку к вашему портфолио, и если вы подойдете, может быть, вам ответят. «Для меня это была не порнографическая эксплуатация, а роль в живом художественном проекте, — гласит Dia. — Я желала делать что-то сама, и мне казалось, что это отличается от всего, что я лицезрела до этого».
Веб-сайт также работает как интернет-сообщество с профилями участников и форумами, с частым возникновением интервью больших фигур пользующейся популярностью и другой культуры. Для полного доступа к содержимому веб-сайта, придется платить 4$ каждый месяц. Suicide Girls перевоплотился в неописуемо успешный коммерческий проект, и на данный момент это уже бизнес: книжки, журнальчики, новенькая линия одежки, различные девайсы, мультимедиа-релизы и это не последние из продукции от Suicide Girls. Не считая это проект организуют турне по стране и устраивают так именуемые Suicide Girls Party.

Suicide Girls – это американская компания, объединяющая девушек из разных стран в их стремлении доказать миру, что женская красота не зависит от навязанных обществом стереотипов, таких как: рост, размеров и строения тела, цвета кожи и волос, наличия или отсутствия татуировок и пирсинга. Каждая девушка уникальна! Как следствие – каждая по-своему красива и сексуальна, нужно только помочь ей раскрыть свой потенциал!

С самой юности я мечтала стать одной из девушек Suicide Girls, поэтому когда Rambo (известная модель и штатный координатор моделей в этом проекте) предложила мне присоединиться, я с радостью согласилась! Я долго рассматривала фотографии других девушек и размышляла, как именно нужно снимать первый сет, ведь на тот момент того, кто объяснил бы мне все детали, просто не было. Тем не менее, первый фотосет вышел отличным и вскоре стал сетом дня, а я получила желанный статус Suicide Girl. За последующие два с лишним года я не только ещё десять раз появилась на главной странице их сайта, но и побывала на крупном зарубежном фото-фестивале по приглашению дирекции проекта! Я познакомилась с лучшими моделями из разных стран, поработала с зарубежными штатными фотографами и набралась опыта, чтобы помогать другим девушкам в их стремлении стать моделями.

Как попасть в Suicide Girls? Всё очень просто! Во-первых, нужно определить для себя, подходит ли тебе это? Ведь модели фотографируются обнаженными. В связи с этим второе требование: модели обязательно должны быть старше 18-ти лет. Опыт, наличие татуировок, место жительства значения не имеют, поэтому далее можно смело обращаться ко мне за анкетой модели и всеми необходимыми материалами и инструкциями!

Отправив заявку и загрузив свой первый фотосет, девушка становится Hopeful (надеющейся стать моделью). Если сет нравится пользователям и администрации сайта, его выбирают сетом дня и он появляется на главной странице, а модель получает желанный статус Suicide Girls и, полагающийся за каждый сет дня гонорар. Быть моделью Suicide Girls – значит снимать первоклассные сеты, сотрудничать с различными магазинами и брендами, общаться и заводить новых друзей, путешествовать и получать некоторую прибыль от всего этого! Сплоченность и доброжелательность среди моделей и пользователей – это то, что отличает Suicide Girls от многих подобных сообществ.

Деньги – далеко не главное для моделей Suicide Girls, но тем не менее, немного заработать себе на путешествия, шоппинг и татуировки можно! Если модель горяча, а сет снят качественно, красиво, интересно и в соответствии с определёнными требованиями, то вскоре его обязательно выберут сетом дня. За каждый такой сет модель получает гонорар в 500 долларов США. Также по всему миру ежегодно устраиваются Shoot Fest’ы – это отличный шанс не только познакомиться с другими моделями, но и снять сразу несколько отличных сетов! Ну и, конечно, многие модели благодаря Suicide Girls становятся мега-популярны и получают множество заказов на съемки, рекламу и так далее, а так же продвигают свои собственные бренды и услуги.

Что касается русских девушек в Suicide Girls, то ещё два-три года назад все, кого я могла найти, оказывались либо уже давно не активными, либо вообще уже не проживали в России… Радует, что сейчас ситуация стала меняться, и у нас появилось несколько официальных моделей Suicide Girls, а также множество прекрасных Hopeful, которые сейчас активно снимаются. С некоторыми из них я встретилась лично и могу с уверенностью сказать, что у них есть все шансы на долговременное сотрудничество с Suicide Girls: они не только очень привлекательны, но и в рамках первого российского Shoot Fest, прошедшего в сентябре 2015, с нашими фотографами они сняли потрясающие сеты!

Для меня очень важно взаимопонимание и комфорт при работе с фотографом. Если это есть, то каждая съёмка будет небольшим шагом вперёд, интересным и увлекательным. Предпочитаю сниматься в студии – работа с реквизитом и готовыми декорациями позволяет больше сосредоточиться на позировании, не отвлекаясь на неудобства вроде погоды. Однако, съёмка на локации может быть более интересной и захватывающей! В этом плане люблю костюмированные фэнтези-образы: они позволяют раскрыть свой потенциал как стилиста, модели и актрисы, ведь приходится не только полностью создавать будущий образ, но вживаться и отыгрывать его.

Sinner Couture – это торжественный, элегантный и содержащий сдержанный эротизм бренд. Он предназначн для тех, кто любит баловать себя только лучшим и творить свой собственный, неповторимый образ, не боясь экспериментов со стилем. Изначально основной продукцией марки являлись, изготавливаемые по индивидуальным меркам, утягивающие корсеты с уникальным авторским кроем. Затем ассортимент был расширен – мы начали выпускать одежду, аксессуары и нижнее белье. Каждая группа изделий требует своих особых технологий изготовления и своих материалов – от натуральной кожи, джинсовой ткани и плотного итальянского атласа для корсетов, до дорогого французского кружева и тончайшей мягкой сетки разных цветов для нижнего белья.

По образованию я дизайнер одежды, и знакома со всеми этапами производства, поэтому дизайн всех моделей разрабатываю сама. Я творческий человек, мне очень сложно сфокусироваться на чем-то одном. Постоянно появляются новые идеи и проекты, которые хочется сейчас же воплотить! Но, как ни крути, я всегда, так или иначе, возвращаюсь к фотопозированию и изготовлению одежды. Думаю, что это судьба! You can apply to model by filling out a model application. We get close to 3000 applications a week, so if it takes us a little while to get back to you, please be patient.
3.2 Who are the SuicideGirls?

#4 Your Account: Payment and billing
4.1 What methods of payment can I use to pay for my SG account?
We accept SO many different forms of payment! The exact options available to you will vary depending what country you’re located in AND whether you’re a brand new SG member or if you’re reactivating an existing SG account.
Generally, though, our billing processors allow us to accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diner’s Club International, JCB, Maestro, and a variety of additional payment methods.
DEBIT CARDS: If your debit card has one of the above logos on it, you can usually use it just like you’d use a credit card, so you’re good to go!
PRE-PAID CARDS: Pre-paid credit card policies vary, so you’ll need to check with the folks that operate your specific pre-paid card. Most prepaid cards don’t allow recurring billing (which is what we use), but you can call the number on the back of your card and ask! If they do, give it a try!
Note: Whichever payment method you are using, please make sure to enter in your billing address *exactly* as it appears on your credit card or bank statement. Inputing false information, including typos or an old mailing address, will cause your payment to fail, and your account will not be created. No one wants that, so be sure you have all of your billing information 100% correct, especially if you recently moved!
4.2 How do I update my payment method?
We use a few different payment processors, so updating your payment information may be different depending which of these your SuicideGirls account is linked to.
You should start by checking your account page: Click the gear toward the top left of the suicidegirls.com homepage. Choose PREFERENCES, and then ACCOUNT. (If you’re on a phone or tablet, look for ACCOUNT in the dropdown menu below the SG logo.)
Under ACCOUNT & PAYMENT INFO, you’ll either see your next billing date or a link to view your billing details via one of our payment processors. Click through to update the method of payment you have on file, just like that!
Note: If you’d like your SG membership to be uninterrupted, make sure your payment method is correct and up to date before your next billing date. If your method of payment is declined or for some other reason does not work, your SG account will be closed until you update your account with a new method of payment. Don’t worry, though, we’ll still love you.
4.3 When will I be charged next? Can I change my payment plan?

We hope you’ll miss us so much that you’ll come back, so because we trust you, here are the steps to cancel your account for the time being:
Click the gear toward the top left of the suicidegirls.com homepage. Choose PREFERENCES, and then ACCOUNT. (If you’re on a phone or tablet, look for ACCOUNT in the dropdown menu below the SG logo.)
Scroll down and you will be able to view your account details and set your account to cancel. It will remain open until the end of your current billing cycle, since you’ve already paid for that time.
If you would prefer your account to be closed immediately, you can choose that option instead, but you will not get a refund or partial refund for this unused time, so most folks prefer to just enjoy their remaining time.
Please note: Cancellations must be made BEFORE the expiration date of your membership to avoid automatic renewal. There are no refunds after your account has been billed.
4.5 Can you delete my account?
We’re sorry, but no. Accounts can be canceled (meaning they will no longer be billed), but they cannot be entirely deleted off of the site.
You can, however, delete all of your content, including your blogs, photos and albums, and profile information, essentially leaving an empty profile.
Please be sure to remove any and all content you do not want left up BEFORE you let your account expire. You may also wish to replace your profile photo, using a blank image or something else generic.

If it’s still not working, go to the help page and enter your email address into the password troubles box. Your password will be changed and the new one will be emailed to you to the email address on your SuicideGirls account.

Having a public profile that allows you to comment on blogs, sets and groups is a right that is very easily lost. The general rule is do not scare or make uncomfortable any other members or SuicideGirls, and do not make the jobs of the people who work on this site harder than necessary.

6.1 How do I change my email address?

6.4 How do I change my profile picture?
Either drag and drop your photo to the middle of the gray area, or use the green CHOOSE FILE button to select your photo. Uploading may take a few moments, and then you’ll be given the option to crop and save your new profile picture!
It can take some time to change on the site, so don’t freak out if it doesn’t change right away. If it still doesn’t appear after an hour or so, try clearing your browser’s cookies and cache. (Not sure how to clear your browser’s cookies and cache? Google has more info!)
Two important notes:
1. Your profile pic is public, so while we love seeing your smiling face, you are welcome to instead use a photo of your dog or a nice flower if you’re on the shy side.
2. Make sure your new profile photo does not violate SG’s Terms of Service! Your profile photo can be anything you want as long as it is your own image and does not include copyrighted material, anything explicit, pornographic, hateful, or otherwise in violation of our TOS. In short, if it could get you or SG in legal trouble, it shouldn’t be on the site, especially in your profile photo.

When you’re ready to save your blog, click the green POST BLOG button and it’ll be published on your page!
6.7 How can I change the privacy on my blog? Can I make it visible to SG members only?
PUBLIC blogs are viewable to anyone, whether they are a member of SuicideGirls, a follower, or a random person cruising around the site.
MEMBERS ONLY blogs are viewable only by SuicideGirls members who are logged in to their SG account.
FOLLOWERS ONLY blogs are only viewable by SuicideGirls members that follow you. (You can allow anyone to follow you on the site, or you can change your preferences to require approval of any new followers.)
To edit privacy settings on existing posts: Click the gear icon for that blog, then choose EDIT. Scroll to the bottom and use the pulldown to change the privacy settings. Make sure you click the green EDIT POST button to save your changes.
There is no option to change all of your blog posts at once, and there is no option to make a blog post visible only to you. Maybe try Livejournal if you’re looking for that? (Is that still a thing? Are we showing our age??)
6.8 How do I edit or delete a blog?
Once you delete a blog it’s gone forever, so make sure you mean it!
6.9 How do I add a link in my blog entry? What else can I include in my blog?
You can also customize your blog with bold and italic lettering, add a spoiler or a quote, embed videos (from Youtube, for example), attach photos, and fiddle around with other simple HTML basics, all using the the corresponding options below the text box. See section 7 of this FAQ for all of the details about attaching images and videos!

7.1 How do I upload a photo?
If using the site on your phone or tablet:
Tap the + symbol in the top right corner of any page, then tap the camera symbol. Use the green CHOOSE FILE button to select your photo. After your photo has uploaded, click the green POST PHOTO button at the bottom, and you’re done!
Uploading one image will create a single photo post, and uploading multiple images at once will create an album. You can edit, delete, or add more photos to either of these at any time.
7.2 I’m having trouble uploading pictures. Help!

7.3 What kind of photos and videos are not allowed to be uploaded on my account?
7.4 Can I link my Instagram to my SG profile? What about Twitter? AllMyLinks? OnlyFans? MFC?
Here’s how to connect your accounts:
From your SG profile, choose the EDIT MY PROFILE button below your username. (If you’re on a phone or tablet, it’ll be the green pencil icon located just below your profile picture.)
Enter your username in the box for any accounts you’d like to link to your SG account. Scroll down and click the green SAVE MY PROFILE button, and you’re done!
Now your profile will display a cute little icon that links everyone to your other sites! Yay!
7.5 How do I post an image in my blog or in a group?
You can also upload images from the web using the URL, or upload them from Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, and Dropbox. If using the site from a computer, you’ll see all of these options to the left of the upload box. If using the site from a phone or tablet, click the three lines to open this menu and then you’ll see all of your options. Select the option you want, connect your account, and then choose the image(s) you wish to upload!
After your image has uploaded and you’re ready to complete your blog or group post, scroll down and click the green POST or SUBMIT button!
7.6 How do I edit my album or delete pictures?
To change the title, description, or privacy settings:
Make your text changes or use the dropdown menu at the bottom left to select your album’s privacy (Public, Members Only, Followers Only). When you’re done, click the green SAVE CHANGES button at the bottom.
To rearrange images:
Drag and drop images in the order you’d like. The first 6 images in your album, will appear as the preview. When you’re done, click the green SAVE CHANGES button at the bottom.
To Add More Photos:
Click the large green + ADD MORE button that’s just below the album thumbnails. Select the new images you wish to add, and wait for them to upload. When you’re done, click the green SAVE CHANGES button at the bottom.
To delete images:
Click on the little trash can icon in the bottom right corner of the images you want to delete. When you’re done, click the green SAVE CHANGES button at the bottom.
To delete the entire album:
Scroll to the bottom of the edit screen and you will see a gray check mark with a caption to confirm you want to delete the album. Clicking it will turn it green, then click DELETE ALBUM.
7.7 Can I link the pictures I uploaded somewhere outside of SuicideGirls?

If using the site on your computer:
Click the play symbol (▶️) in the top right corner of any page. Either drag and drop your video to the middle of the gray area, or use the green CHOOSE FILE button to select your video. After your video has uploaded, click the green POST VIDEO button at the bottom.
If using the site on your phone or tablet:
Tap the + symbol in the top right corner of any page, then tap the play symbol (▶️). Use the green CHOOSE FILE button to select your video. After your video has uploaded, click the green POST VIDEO button at the bottom.
Videos need a few minutes to process and may be reviewed by SG staff, so don’t worry if you don’t see your video right away. We’ll send you a notification once it’s ready to view!
7.9 What kinds of video files can I upload? How big can it be?
Your video must be one of the following filetypes: Quicktime, Windows, FLA, AVI, MPEG, or Real.
It must be under 100mb, or shorter than 10 minutes long.
7.10 My video isn’t uploading! What the crap?
If you see a red error message instead, make sure your video is one of the accepted file types and that it is under 100mb. If you’re sure your video meets these criteria, try clicking the refresh or reload button on your browser. If that doesn’t help, clear your browser’s cookies and cache, then try again. (Not sure how to clear your browser’s cookies and cache? Google has more info!)
Still can’t get it to work? Try uploading your video to Youtube, if possible. If it works there, it should work here. If it doesn’t, you’re using some weird format even the world’s largest video uploading site can’t read, and should probably look into using a different type of video.
