@JeyD23 You just have to provide the folder where GTA5.exe is located.
Steam version of GTA V is here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V
Or
C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V

It worked a for a while then the «GTA5.exe» just disapeared?

To be clear, you don’t browse to & select the GTA5.exe, you browse & select the folder that GTA5.exe is in.
Example:
So if GTA5.exe is here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\GTA5.exe
you browse & select this folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V
& then let OpenIV do it’s thing (find encryption key, tell you the folder is good etc)
@a63nt-5m1th Hi there, I have the same problem in that OPEN IV does not seem to recognize when I point to the GTA folder that GTA5.exe is in the file folder. I have GTA installed on my D drive, do you think that might make a difference? Thanks.

I shouldn’t have thought so, but can’t rule it out.
Try running OpenIV with admin privileges:
Right-click ‘OpenIV.exe‘ > ‘Properties‘ > ‘Compatibility‘ tab > ‘Run this program as an administrator’ ticked > ‘OK‘
@cuttyspark So this worked for me but it may not work for you. If you are still having this issue try uninstalling open iv and then reinstalling it. It worked for me.
Появилась проблема. Нужно было заменить текстуры одежды для одних там корейцев. (Они в моде есть, где их нанимать можно)
Захотел немножко видоизменить. Нашел код мода, там по коду нашел название файла для корейцев.
А именно: g_m_y_korean_01
Далее нашел эти файлы в x64v/model/cdimages/componentpeds_g_m_y/
Захожу в игру, нанимаю этих корейцев, они спавнятся, выходят из-за угла.
И они до сих пор в своих кофтах, и штанах. Ничего и не изменилось.
Вышел из игры, перепроверил архив. Мои текстуры на месте.
Не подскажете что в таком случае делать? Может эти файлы еще где лежать? Или как мне изменть их одежду?

Хотя другие текстуры меняются(не знаю все ли).
Например без проблем изменил костюм охранника для Майкла и Тревора.
Изменил костюм спецназа.
А вот этих корейцев что-то никак не получается.

I have a problem with openiv. Its about the path when i open up OpenIV then i click on GTA V and then »Windows»
and then i click the folder where the suff is installed in and then it says »Error: This folder doesn’t contain the ‘GTA5.exe’ file.
Does anyone know the fix for this? I really want to know the fix because now i cant install any rpf mods or car mods or graphics mods 
so i hope anyone can tell me more!

@ItsGunner_ Last time I saw this very same problem, the person was trying to use the folder in My Documents\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V, which is of course, incorrect.
The folder you should be using, will be something like C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V or in the case of Steam C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V
Eh i use the same correct folder as what you just said but still it says that there is no such gta5.exe while i clicked the folder where i installed gta 5 in.
@ItsGunner_ Can you take a screenshot of OpenIV showing the folder you are trying to use?
The only other time I have seen this, is when the user chose GTA IV by mistake. I haven’t seen this problem for any reasons than the ones I have listed, so this might be something new, so it would be useful to see where it is going wrong.

Iv been having this problem since day one i try and drag all 3 files that i need to replace it will allow me to drag one but than the other files wont move i get an error that says «unable to add files» im in edit mode it just wont let me add anything
I haven’t encountered any problems like this, weird tho
Have you tried:
Uninstall and reinstall?
runed it as administration?
Installing OpenIV.asi?
Try those if you didn’t

What happens if you drop the files in, one by one?
@TRDraider What operating system are you using?
What ever you do, do not run it as an administrator. Running any application as an administrator immediately prevents drag & drop from being used. It is a designed feature by Microsoft to prevent code hijacking.
@LeeC2202 I use OpenIV by running it as adminstrator 
@RAZ3R_BLAD3 Try this on your computer. Right-click on Notepad, choose run as administrator then try and drag a file into it. Then try the same thing again by running it normally.
Maybe OpenIV uses a system that bypasses the normal drag-and-drop processing if it works in administrator mode. Although going off this page, it says basically what I said about it. http://openiv.com/bugs/view.php?id=351
I know when I created a programme to write rules to the Windows firewall, I had to jump through all kinds of hoops to get it to work with drag-and-drop. A lot of developers complained to Microsoft but they said that’s just how it is designed.

Такая ошибка высвечивается только когда я запускаюсь через ваш лаунчер, если пробовать просто через стим/рокстар, то все нормально и все работает.
Я не знаю в чем проблема нигде нет ответа, надеюсь на помощь.

Здравствуйте!
1. Скачайте и запускайте игру через клиент RAGEMP от имени администратора, установленный в папку Games (любую папку в корне диска с английским названием), с сайта rage.mp, предварительно удалив наш лаунчер (GTA5 Launcher).
2. Скачайте файлы по ссылке https://dropmefiles.com/Buj2t
3. Разархивируйте папку в путь RAGEMP\client_resources (если папки client_resources нет, создайте.)
После разархивирования замените в названии папки слово «сервер» на название своего сервера(пример: strawberry.gta5rp.com_22005 )
4. Если играли в одиночную игру, удалите сохранения, отключите облачные сохранения, затем пройдите пролог.
5. Убедитесь, что на Вашем ПК установлено точное время. Включите автоматическую синхронизацию времени.
6. Удалите стороннее антивирусное ПО, файрвол, удалите Adguard, Wallpaper engine, MSI Afterburner, MSI Mystic light и аналогичные, для управления подсветкой и блокировки рекламы. Также Process Lasso и Park Control и подобные.
В настройках брандмауэра Windows, удалите все правила для входящих и исходящих подключений.
1. Убедитесь, что ваша GTA V обновлена.
2. Запустите одиночную игру и GTA Online один раз.
3. Перезагрузите игровой лаунчер (Steam/RGL/EGS)
4. Убедитесь что антивирусное программное обеспечение не заблокировало ни один из файлов RAGE MP.
5. Перезагрузите компьютер и роутер.
6. Удалите все сторонние моды, так как они могут быть несовместимы.
Чтобы в будущем снизить вероятность вылетов, отключите, а лучше удалите антивирус, файрвол, удалите Adguard, Wallpaper engine, MSI Afterburner, MSI Mystic light и аналогичные, для управления подсветкой и блокировки рекламы. Очистите папку GPUCache в папке RAGEMP. Также увеличьте файл подкачки до 24 гб. В скоплениях игроков, старайтесь отключать отображение имён. Проверьте стабильность соединения с интернетом. Не используйте графические модификации. Убедитесь, что имеете как минимум 12гб оперативной памяти и игра с RAGEMP установлены на SSD. Проверьте настройки электропитания процессора и видеокарты, установите на максимальную производительность. Включите вертикальную синхронизацию, либо другим способом ограничьте FPS до 60. Если используете ноутбук, задайте приоритет дискретной видеокарты для GTAV. Включите Accelerated CEF Rendering в настройках RAGEMP.
Запустите по очереди, не закрывая предыдущее, следующие приложения: Steam или Epic+Rockstar games launcher+RAGEMP (RAGEMP и RGL от имени администратора)
