Gamerule keepInventory
/gamerule keepInventory true
/gamerule keepinventory true
/gamerule keepInventory false
/gamerule keepinventory false

Yes i did make the «I» i Inventory capital.
With Advent of Ascension, the command is changed to /gamerule keepAllInventory true
However, there is a skill (I can’t remember which one) which gives you a chance to keep all of your inventory on death, and as you level it up, it will make keeping all valuable items (armor, tools, weapons, realm stones, etc.) a permanent thing, so that is something to take into account if you want to play like that.
I knew it was cause of AOA because since I updated it, it was acting like that.
This had nothing to do with not know how to spell a command, it was the fact that a mod was completely overwriting the vanilla command.
Man i forgot all about this xD typed in the gamerule, then /kill to test it and. yep by inventory. Thx!!
Not working on survival tho. «You don’t have permission to do that».
That means that you don’t have permissions to use commands.
To use commands, either turn on cheats when you start the world, or, for an existing wold, hit escape, press ‘Open to LAN’, allow cheats, start the world in LAN. You will be able to use commands, but pressing escape will no longer pause the game, the game will keep running in the background, so be careful of that.
What about when you don’t have said mod? I have a bunch of others and for some reason when I type /gamerule keepInventory true it says that it updates to true and doesn’t work. Similar effect with /gamerule noMobGriefing :_(
In terms of both of those I simply want it to make things a little simpler, keeping inventory isn’t too much of a problem since I can easily get mods to give me a gravestone, but I hate it when creepers sneak attack my awesome builds! I like making things look nice and so when creepers decide to blow it all up it becomes really annoying Seriously, I don’t care if they blow ME up! I just want my cool creation to not die!
